Armed with bat echo locators, we will walk the fields and hedgerows of Purdown to see how many bat species live or visit our wildlife corridor. Find out all about bat facts such as how can bats “see” in the dark, what they eat, how they find their way around and why South Purdown is a “bat magnet” – come and see the largest bat in the UK that feed here.

Suitable for all age ranges, some hill walking involved so it’s essential to wear sturdy footwear and be stable on your feet!

£1 per ticket will be donated to the Old Library.

There are very limited spaces on this walk. booking on a first-come-first served basis, and must be booked in advance! Bring snacks, a drink, your camera and a torch!
