Yesterday’s Wild Walk was absolutely tremendous. Steve England’s knowledge of flora and fauna in the Eastville area was impressively extensive. His enthusiasm for the subject highly contagious. This was reflected in the total engagement of us all at every stage, including the dozen or more children of varying ages all of whom were glued to his every word and to everything he shared.
All in all a wonderful two hours. Please can we have more? I’d love to see Steve being employed by every school primary and secondary – in Bristol. He has such great wealth of knowledge and outdoor practical skills that really need to be shared in these times we live. It could transform people’s lives as it did mine yesterday! An absolute thrill to be with someone who is so knowledgeable and dedicated.
Very much look forward to, hopefully, more!
