As part of the friends of Stoke Park event we are running a free to attend beginners to intermediate bushcraft session at Stoke Park, Steve England will be leading this event and is suitable for ages over 10 years only, we will be walking the estate identifying medicinal plants and their uses,identifying and collecting fire lighting materials and fire making techniques,looking at how to make a self feeding fire,also looking for edible wild foods , also identifying poisonous wild plants, (please note this is not a roasted marshmallow day but aimed at those who wish to enhance their knowledge of bushcraft skills.) limited places ,to book a place (s) email newlook388@aol.com, places secured on a first come basis and spaces allocated to those who have not attended this type of event before. suitable clothing to be worn and walking boots, we will be walking around 1 mile and some hill walking involved.
