I just had a fantastic day working with students from Orchard Academy at Stoke Park, who were studying GCSE Biology.
Orchard School Academy year 9 gifted and talented students studying GCSE Biology accompanied with science teacher Dave Hanks and support assistant Miss Simms.
This is a “Wild City” project and we will be doing lots more events like this after the summer holiday.
Students got the opportunity to get real hands on learning national curriculum subjects.
The students all said that, to quote them, “this is better than being in any classroom anytime” ! This is exactly what i had hoped to hear because they were in fact in a class room but an open air one in the middle of a woods.
