Today I had the pleasure to work with 100 students (phew!) from local Filton Avenue junior school in Lockleaze, here in Bristol. Working for the “Wild City” project, we are putting together an eco-type orienteering trail around Stoke Park. The students, armed with clip boards and pencils, played nature detectives, and found and then identified lots of natural things that they sketched too. These will then be translated into metal badges to be attached to the way-marker posts around the park. The weather was on our side and we all had great fun – looking forward to seeing the end result of all our hard work.
