Putting on the hat of “Mr England”, I regularly attend schools, colleges and universities across Bristol and further beyond to help children and students learn hands-on about wildlife in and around their city.
Be Immersed in Nature
Through in classroom and outdoor learning, children become immersed in nature with activities that take them away from the standard classroom environment and turn the school day into an active, exciting and hands-on adventure. I am happy to work with the current curriculum and transform the learning experience, from investigating snake eggs and skin, dissecting Owl pellets, to hunting for fossils and discovering what’s lurking in the school surrounds.
Hand’s on Adventures
Working with Universities too, I am a regular guest into Ecology and Environmental studies, where I bring knowledge and experience to those looking to move into this field of study. Knowledge brought not just from years of experience in the field but from 10 years RHS training, means I can be a vital addition to the student learning experience.
I have been teaching within school across Bristol for over 10 years, at schools including:
- Horfield Primary
- Bristol Steiner School
- Wallscourt Academy
- UWE (University of the West of England)
Take a look at my feedback page to see what some of the schools have said!
