Join us on a journey of bird discovery around Stoke Park, with a special visit from Paul Golledge’s Bird of Prey.

Join Steve England on a journey of discovery, exploring the woodlands, lake and fields of Stoke Park, to see how many brilliant birds we can see, hear and identify. Learn about their behaviour such as why particular birds favour woodlands, grasslands or water, learn how to identify birds by their song, sillouettes and flight patterns, and find out some fun bird facts, where they nest and what they eat.

This event includes a special visit from Paul Golledge’s Birds of Prey Discovery, to meet some of the wonderful birds up close!

For safety and comfort of the birds, we ask that dogs do not attend this event (Except guide dogs).

Bring binoculars, a notepad, camera and a picnic! The event content is aimed at adult level understanding.

Why Free?

This event is kindly funded by the Bristol City Council Community Engagement Programme and so provides funded spaces for attendees. If you have booked tickets and can no longer attend, PLEASE be in touch via steveenglandbristol@gmail.com ASAP so the spaces can be opened up to others who would like to attend.
