Explore the hidden and wonderful world of hedgerows in Stoke Park during National Hedgerow Week 2022.

Join Steve England for a stroll through the meadows and woodland to find out more about an often over-looked but important part of our landscape heritage – our hedgerows.

We will look at the plants, shrubs and trees that make up our diverse hedgerow network, learn about the habitats and benefits of these landscape features and see what edibles we can forage at this time of year. We will discuss both the ancient hedgerows and the newest planting in the park that will become dominant hedgerows in years to come.

This is a free of charge event, funded by the Bristol City Council Stoke Park Community Engagement fund 2021/22.
