Join Steve England on a a basket weaving workshop to create your own lovely handmade basket in time for Christmas. You will wander the woodlands to identify and collect your basket materials, then sit within the woodlands around a campfire (or within the Vench, weather dependent) to create your very own basket with a solid Ash wood base, and woven sides made from foraged hazel withies or Ivy.

The session will teach you transferable skills of material foraging and weaving for you to take away, plus you will leave with your very own handmade basket! Great as a gift, or to display at home throughout the winter period!

This event is aimed at adults, however over 12’s with accompanying adult. 

What to Bring?

A pair of secateurs, gloves, sturdy footwear and a packed lunch!
