A family foraging workshop within the Stoke Park Estate learning, identifying & foraging the wild foods within the park.

Join Steve England for a beginners family foraging adventure in the beautiful Stoke Park Estate, where children can learn the basics of wild food foraging, and together with their parents, discover the array of foods from the grasslands and hedgerows around the park.

W?e will be on the lookout for a range of edible species including wild onions, garlic and sorrel, and collect a tasty wild salad to enjoy, whilst learning the importance of conservation for your future family adventures!

S?uitable for ages 8+

C?ourse lasts for 2 – 2.5 hours. Each main ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. Additional children can be added as “Add-ons” within the ticket options. We ask a maximum of 2 children per adult due to the dangers associated with foraging.

T?his fun and informative course is a rare chance for both children and their parents alike to discover wild food foraging. We will be meeting at the Cameron Centre, Cameron Walk, Lockleaze, BS7.

Cancellation/Postponing due to Poor Weather

SE Outdoor Learning events take place outdoors, and therefore unfortunately we may need to be postponed or cancelled in the days leading up to the event if it seems that the weather will be too poor for it to be run safely. We will always aim to confirm cancellation of the event 24 – 48 hours in advance (though on very rare occassions, sudden weather changes may mean its closer than this). Please keep an eye on your emails and Facebook for information regarding this. If you cannot make the postponed date, please request a refund and we will be able to issue this for you asap.
