The clocks have turned back and the winter months approach, the trees are dropping their leaves ready for their winter sleep. However there’s still an abundance of of plants that are ready to harvest and eat, they really are a really wild treat…

So join us for this fascinating one-off event to discover the abundance of Winter Wild Foods found within Stoke Park, Bristol – 19th November 2017!

Led by Steve England, this new event will take us on a discovery and informative walk around the fantastic Stoke Park Estate, discovering, identifying and collecting wild winter salad plants and other foraged goodies we may find along the way.

Steve will show us what to look for and the poisonous lookalikes to ensure we can identify them at any time of year, and teach us some of the tricks of the trade when it comes to foraging wild foods. We will be walking through various habitats including the grasslands, woodlands, the lake and the hedgerows, to collect a bounty of edible plants, ready to retreat to wash and prepare our pickings and make a tasty wild lunch together.

The event will run until approximately 2pm.
